Become a Certified Proactive Mental Health ChampionSM

The Proactive Mental Health ChampionSM Certification prepares you to build supportive cultures where people thrive—while also reducing the risk of burnout, mental health challenges, and unnecessary crises.

You’ll learn how to effectively tailor and deliver the Proactive Mental Health Toolkit for maximum impact. The toolkit includes evidence-informed guidebooks, PowerPoint presentations with presenter notes, self-assessments, and culture-level surveys designed to support both individual well-being and healthier social climates.

This train-the-trainer certification is delivered through six live Zoom sessions, with flexible pacing options to fit your professional schedule:

  1. Introducing Proactive Mental Health – What it is, why it matters, and how it can be achieved
  2. Self-Care – Supporting attitudes and behaviors that increase resilience and help people thrive
  3. Peer Support – Empowering coworkers, housemates, family, and friends to support proactive mental health
  4. Leadership Support – Equipping formal and informal leaders to foster supportive subcultures
  5. Strengthening the Social Climate – Assessing and enhancing the sense of community, shared vision, and positive outlook
  6. Putting Proactive Mental Health to Work – Tailoring the toolkit to fit your culture and professional role

Champions become part of a learning community of dedicated, highly skilled professionals committed to advancing proactive mental health within their organizations and communities.

This prevention-focused, ethically grounded certification is designed to complement clinical care, workplace mental health initiatives, and wellness programs—not to replace therapy, EAPs, or medical treatment. Instead, it strengthens mental health self-care and addresses the cultural conditions that shape mental health outcomes.

Graduates are prepared to design, deliver, and sustain proactive mental health initiatives.
